All three are genuinely optional. Plenty of businesses take none and manage their own hosting — you own the site and the domain either way.
Straight answers
What I won't pretend to do.
I'd rather lose a job than oversell one, so here's the honest boundary.
I can't promise you page one of Google. Anyone who does is guessing or lying. I'll build your site so Google can read it properly and so you've got a real shot at local searches — but rankings depend on competition, reviews and time, none of which I control.
A website won't fix a quiet phone on its own. It removes a reason people don't call you. It doesn't replace doing good work and getting reviews.
I'm not the right call for everything. Big corporate builds, complex web apps, full brand identity from scratch — not my lane, and I'll tell you that on the first call rather than three weeks in.
Questions people ask
What's actually included in 'SEO'?
For Launch: proper page titles, descriptions, headings, image alt text, a sitemap, and your Google Business Profile set up correctly. For Pro: all that plus structured data, a page per service, and location pages so you can show up for searches in the suburbs you work in. What it isn't is an ongoing ranking campaign — that's a different service and I'll say so rather than imply otherwise.
Do you do logos and branding?
Light touch. I'll set your site's colours and type properly and tidy up an existing logo. If you need a full brand identity built from nothing, you want a designer who does only that, and I'll say so.
What about hosting and the domain?
Under a care plan I handle both and it's in the $99. Without one, I'll set them up in your name and hand you the log-ins — you'd be looking at roughly $20–30 a month all up, paid direct.
Can you fix my existing site instead of rebuilding?
Sometimes. Send me the link. If it's structurally sound and just looks tired, a refresh is cheaper and I'll quote that instead. If it's built on something that's going to keep breaking, I'll tell you that too.
Do you work with businesses outside the trades?
Yes — cafés, salons, cleaners, mobile mechanics, allied health, anyone selling a local service. The trades are just where most of my work comes from.
How many changes do I get during the build?
Two proper rounds of revisions, which in practice is nearly always enough. Beyond that I'll keep going within reason — I'd rather you were happy than technically in breach of a clause.
