Manly runs on reputation and word of mouth, which is exactly why a lot of good operators here have never bothered with a website. The problem is what happens when someone gets your name from a neighbour and looks you up.
They're not deciding whether you're any good — they've already been told that. They're checking that you exist, that you're still trading and that they can reach you. A dead Facebook page fails all three tests.
There's also a seasonal edge here that most of Sydney doesn't have. Being findable in October, before the summer rush, is worth considerably more than being findable in February when you're already flat out.
